The Celtic Harp Ensemble was born as a natur expression of the Celtic Harp improvement corse that took place at the "A. Steffani" Conservatory of Castelfranco Veneto.

Enrico Euron - leader of the group - has gathered five harpists, all graduated in Classic Harp and well known in the Italian music scene, who have improved the study of the Celtic Harp's tecnique and of the traditional and ancient repertory of the Celtic areas: Ireland, Scotland, Bretagne, Wales; after this the violinist Irene Pedrollo, already member of the group "Rondò Veneziano", became part of the group.

The repertory proposed by the Ensemble is very exciting and evocative, alsobecause of the charming sound of the instruments and of the historical and musical explainations which introduce each music, and bring listeners in an ancient but involving world.

L'attitudine polistrumentale dell'Ensemble aggiunge una nota di varietà e di completezza al repertorio: dalle danze vivaci e brillanti alle slow airs malinconiche, dai canti d'amore alle marce militari, si dispiega un nuovo universo, sospeso fra passato e presente, fra magia e realtà.

The historical research of the Enselble goes from the first musical Irish documents to the most modern compositions written for this instrument, and brings to a extraodinary variety and completeness: from lively and brillant dances to the melancholy slow-airs, from the love songs to the military marches, a new universe, between past and present, magic and real, shows itself.

Guests are usually present in the concerts of the Ensemble and give a new sound to the performance of the gruop: from guitar to bodhran, from flute to pipe, the intruments creates new exciting effects. Irish, Scottish and Breton traditions live again in the Celtic Harp Ensemble's notes, traditions which have been transmitted from harper to harper till our days; today these traditions are played in all their charm. The group was invited to the most important Celtic appointments organized in Italy: from Celtica 2004 to the Harps International Festival of Isolabona.
